Vlad, I have a guy in Troy near HVCC that can probably fix this for you for $50. You can’t just plop in a new drive. You have to get the key off the old one, spoof it onto the new drive, and then it’ll work. Let me know if you wanna go that route and I’ll give you his email so you can get in contact with him. I found him on Craigslist and he did both mine and my brothers first XBox’s (we since have gotten the HDMI/new CPU ones).
That’s the route I was planning on going.
Funny thing is, whenever I’ve ever heard of anybody fixing or hacking Xbox’s it’s always some “guy from Troy” :lol

I paid over 100$ for this thing over a year ago, and obviously haven’t used it, much less haven’t even really seen it for pretty much the entire year.
I have my Xbox that I play with, I know I wouldn’t use another one.
