Fully built gsr gtx30r powered 1999 Civic dx hatch

This car was a 1 owner when purchased and then brought to Synapse motor sports to have a gsr swap with a garret 30r a/c turbo kit installed. The only people to work on this car has been Synapse. I have a stack of paper work for over 15000 with out this past winters work which was when the block was sent out to have Benson sleeves installed. The car has around 110k on the body but it does have an si cluster which reads lower. The car has a clean car fax and has no rust or body work ever done. It has one small dent in the passenger rear quarter which will be seen in the photo’s. I will post up a moderately detailed list of the modifications done to the vehicle but I may have missed some pieces.

Engine:
-Full gsr swap out of a 95 integra gsr(have title signed over from donor car)
-Installed by Synapse motor sports

  • Engine was pulled winter/spring 2011 to have the engine work done.
    -Benson sleeves
    • Cp pistons 9.8:1 compression mounted on Pauter rods
    • ACL bearings all through out
    • ARP hardware used through the engine
  • GSR head was built this winter with new valves, springs and retainers which I believe came from Ferrara(all done by Synapse)
  • Type R cams

Transmission:
-Came from same donor car
-Rebuilt this past spring with Synchro-tech carbon coated synchros and a type r lsd
-Competition stage 5 6puck clutch

Fuel System:
-Intake walboro 255
-Inline Bosch 044

  • ID1000 injectors
    -AEM fuel rail
    -Trick flow fuel pressure regulator

Intake:
-Edelbrock intake manifold
-PWR liquid intercooler(has room to go larger)
-10" air-water heat exchanger with fan mounted on it

Turbo kit:
-Synapse a/c kit
-Brand new this spring Garret gtx30r
-Full 3inch Synapse turbo back exhaust

Suspension:
-Skunk2 pro-c coil overs
-Adjustable rear control arms
-Buddy club p1 wheels
-Gsr brakes all the way around.

Interior:
-Bone stock down to the radio minus a short throw shifter

The car was tuned on hondata s300 to 415whp on 93 and 505 on race gas. They did not want to go any further on the stock ignition so if you add an M&W ignition you could easily make 600whp on this set up and still have power steering and a/c.

it puzzles me that your tuner stopped at that power level. ive seen numerous high hp b series make mid 500’s on stock ignitions. anyways. GLWS. very well built car

The car had a bad distributor when it was tuned so they stopped. The distributor has since been replaced but there was no need to make more power as 500 on the street is pretty useless.
Also the car is located in Albany.

What type of MPG’s does this get with all the modding?

I usually average about 24-26 depending on how much highway driving is involved. If you just cruise around town it gets pretty similar mileage to a stock gsr.

probably better off parting it out, after i get done parting my si I will have made 2,000 more than my original asking price

I wanted to sell it whole due to the fact I dont have the time to pull it apart and ship parts one by one
