Uggh. Someone tell the Ford that a can of spray paint doesn’t make a parts bin interior “sporty.”
How can you claim Fords to be shitty when you can’t even invest a minute to read up a bit on what you’re slamming?
I like this car…for what it is. Yes, there are some things that aren’t working on it (interior trim comes to mind, no stick shift as well). However, for the midsize category…show me a car with the same options as this fully loaded, with AWD, for under $30k.
I can honestly say I like this car more than the cookie cutter 4-door 3 series BMW’s that I see at ever corner.
I agree 100%, I mean the two tone interior is crazy ugly but I bet that is an option. I think that would look good with a slight drop and understated rims. It looks like a tsx or tl whichever has that style grill. 250hp/250 torque would be awesome with a manual. It is a sweet car the side profile is sick. Why would I want a the same BMW three series that every housewife in wny has when I could have this nice sporty unique car.
[sarcasm]i love it!!![/sarcasm]
lol @ ford not being cookie cutter
And any subaru and a lot of saabs and a lot of audis come fully loaded with a more advanced AWD system and come in 5spd and aren’t hideous and aren’t produced by a dying company and aren’t made by FORD.
and you can honestly say you like it more than a bmw? that surprises the shit out of me, it’s not like you currently own any fords or anything, CRAZY !!!
Exterior looks ok,interior is bad but can easily be fixed with seat covers and black sharpies.
No.
Looks better than their new SHO but then again I don’t like either. :hay:
Go price out a Saab and Audi before you throw those on your list…both those cars start in the $30k range and can top $40k with ease. This Fusion is fully optioned for UNDER $30k. Do some research before you post.
Subies are definitely a nice ride, and given a choice between this Fusion and say a Legacy GT I’d have a tough decision to make, for I really like the Legacy’s. I’m guessing this will be the Fusion Sports biggest competitor.
Yes, I can honestly say I like this Fusion more than the bland 3 series that are running rampant around here. Go price one of those out while you’re researching the Saab’s and Audi’s…you’ll see that these fall into the same price range. Again, not sure how many times I need to say this, but for the price range this Fusion Sport brings a lot to the party.
Busted, I do own Fords…but that doesn’t mean I’m not close minded about what else is out there. I have owned my Mustang since I was 16 and will always have that as my toy…it just happens to be a Ford. The SHO was bought for $2000 as basic transportation 3 years ago and is currently rocking 228K miles and gets me to work everyday…and no car payment to boot! I’m not here to impress, and chose to put my money in places other than a car right now…so take a break with trying to make me look biased, and get used to the fact the Ford is making some nice prodcuts.
that red interior is HORRIBLE… the outside is so-so.
lol, i see where you are coming from on this
My mother has a Fusion SE and it’s a piece of shit. I’d never recommend it to anyone.
the current fusion is offered in AWD form. I dont see why it wouldnt carry over :gotme:
anyone wondering about this pic, the reason the int is that orange is because its a special edition. the outside of the car is that orange color. the had one at autohaus, called the Fahrenheit edition iirc.
yes, its ugly
Gotta love when the Marketing department gets there say on a cars aaesthetic…
Yeah you’re right most saabs start just at or slightly above $30,000. With the Audi comparison I guess I was thinking about slightly used a4s, a6s etc.
