Garages of NYSPEED

I would write insurance on your garage just I could come see it in all it’s glory. lol

I’m in my garage so often that cleaning it only makes it harder to find tools. For a basic 2.5 car it’s not bad though. We share with the downstairs tenants—their side is the one with clean concrete, mine’s an oil slick with beer cans scattered around

I like seeing the garages with oil and dirt all over the floor. Work happening here  I need some new / better pics of mine. :frowning:

Does mine count?

^ where is that Ultima Ive heard about?

I was watching something last night that said those 328’s need a full engine overhaul every 20k miles. True?

[Shakes head]

Um, no idea?

Well, the Ferrari folks will say that it needs a cambelt/water pump/every filter and every fluid every 5th time you drive them, but definitely not a 20k mile interval on engine jobs.

I spy a chooch.

I’ve posted my garage before, but in another thread. I know there were some people who wanted to know how well the tiles held up over the winter, so I’m happy to report that they seemed to do just fine. These pictures aren’t the most current, but they’re pretty close. I’ll be adding a few more things this spring to both the garage and car.

My garage sucks…everytime i try and reorganize it to create more space, I end up with the same available space, just in a different configuration. Time to get rid of some stuff! Then I will post up pics.

Damn. Nice work with small space.

Nice GT sketch, too.

STEALTTH’s garage isn’t so much a shop as it is a showroom. That is a seriously clean space, it looks better than most guys’ rec rooms.

Shifty- that’s a great idea for the snow blower and mower, do you switch them/ just lift it there by hand every season?

I love that idea for the snowblower. I may just have to steal it since that is my biggest complaint in my garage right now.

I re-did these cabinets (they used to white): Niagara coatings painted them red, Custom Laser cut the stainless steel diamond plate and aluminum diamond plate and fasteners direct supplied the stainless steel button heads bolts. I bought the 3" wheels from Harbor Freight for the bottom cabinets.

Thanks, its not too bad. Its 2_3/4 garage (35’ x 30’) at times I do wish I had a 3 car garage, for more work space.

I made my own ramps. Using aluminum 5" channels; mitered on one end and a plate weld at 45 degrees on the opposite end

Nice! Make sure your bottom chord can handle the weight. You may need to add another truss connecting your top and bottom chord. I use threaded rod…so when it settles I can level the shelf.
