Gear ratios

I’m looking into buying a new truck and there is an option of diffrent gear ratios.

The options are 3.42, 4.10, 3.73

can someone give me an Idea of real life examples of the diffrence be tween these. Like is one better for hauling, one better for highway driving, etc.

Thanks in advance

stick or auto?

3:73 is a decent all around gear. wont be too bad on highway, but will be real good with towing. if you are doin mostly highway. go with the 3:42
I have 3:73’s in my mustang, and my dad also has them in his 03 trail blazer
