Its pretty hard to ignite jetfuel, like JP-8 or Jet A-1 it really needs to be pressurized to ignite…

It’s not that hard, it’s just kerosene really, it’s harder to ignite than gasoline, but not as hard as diesel (which I’m sure a hundred or so gallons contributed to the fire)
