Well, how do they get you, front plate or back plate? I have my front covered
I think both. Its more than one picture from any I have actually seen.
If you are running read lights on a bike, they probably wont send you a ticket and just let darwin run its course.
ha, you better believe iām going to SLAM on my brakes when there is a Buffalo cop behind me, heās either going to rear end me or spill his coffee.
ābut officer, I donāt want a $75 redlight ticketā
2 wordsā¦ ājust dumbā
Damn it, why havenāt they instituted the automatic killing of any legislation that both me and JayS disagree with yet? It needs to be called the Bipartisan Common Sense Act or something.
where did my hat goā¦ finds tinfoil and makes new hat
Phoenix has had them for years, they are starting to take down some of them because they were causing more rear end accidentsā¦
But they still have a ton of them up. Fines are $193ā¦
Its somewhat OK there, because there is no snow. When you start doing this in blizzards in shitty buffalo, it is going to be a huge safety hazard.
I have never received a ticket for a red light run, but I have run red lights in buffalo when Iām going fast, and the roads are too icy to stop in time.
Should I jam on the brakes, and throw my car into the ditch?
:roflpicard:
No, you should drive at a speed appropriate for the conditions, which means being able to stop for a red light.
I donāt have any problem with the idea of giving people tickets for running red lights. I donāt even have a problem with the idea of the traffic camera. I cringe but can get over the whole guilty until proven innocent thing as long as a human has to approve the picture ticket before itās sent out. What pisses me off is that every city that installs these eventually ātweaksā them to generate more revenue, either by reducing the time of the yellow or reducing the grace period (so youāre not ticketing the guy who was under the light when it changed).
Buffalo isnāt even trying to claim itās about safety because theyāre coming right out and talking about how much revenue they hope it will bring in. Doing that you know theyāll be setting them up generate as many tickets as possible.
Proven totally ineffective by Myth Busters.
im gunna get byron browns liscense plate number, go rent an suv and print out a copy on my computer and tape it to the rental and just blow through redlights all night long.lol
This just doesnt seem right though, but NY is money hungry right now and they will do anything to increase revenue.
I think we should get every NY state resident to MOVE out of the state, and tell NY that we wonāt move back in until they figure their shit out
It would work too.
Iām glad Iām gone.
Have fun paying some of the highest taxes in the country, along with one of the lowest job markets, the highest fuel prices, the lowest number to clear days, and now red light cameras! Ha there goes %50 of your pay.
Wow if you did this to someone with the same color and model car, they would be totally f-ed right?
Good thing there are a ton a red corvette! If Iām ever in town Iāll be sure to print one.
Lots-o white 3 series too.
Remember, this is the same state that is trying to tax health services like joining the gym and spaās.
OFF TOPIC.
Letās say I parked my car on a street that has every other day parkingā¦ and I removed my license plate so they couldnāt write me a ticketā¦ what would happen?
You would get towed.
We have the red light cameras in Vegas but itās optional to have front plates here so Iām not sure how many people get busted. My friend works for the company that monitors them and said theyāre actually used to monitor traffic patterns and change the signal length to keep things moving nicely. I wonder if theyād do something similar in Buffalo?
While at the same time trying to tax non-diet soda because, the governors words, āwe have a obesity epidemic that we have to do something aboutā.
:picard:
you still have a registration on your windowā¦ and theyd tow you.
