Its a really small office so I guess I am the network engineer LOL
ok, i didnt mean that in a negative way, i was just wondering where he was through all this
there is no option to click on network adress and enter anything???
just make sure its all set to dhcp, not static ip.
God I wonder what that dell tech makes, that should be the first thing to check.
yeah, dont even worry about it… sounds like your having other issues. I did have that same error though “limited or no connectivity”
like I said, it may be a fluke… try shutting everything down and powering it back up. (including modem/router/ect)
were you able to connect the PC directly to the internet without the router?
I believe in the properties for the internet connection… it should have some checkboxes, one of which being DHCP
Just tried to use the internet with no router and still get the same message so its not a router problem
strange man… dont know what to tell ya… maybe call up your ISP and see what they say
Call me
Problem solved, you nubs.
Don’t think so big when the problem is small.
DHCP server not on, guy who set up network assigned IPs, turned on DHCP, all good in the hood.
hollaaa,
Thank you Howie
