Basically I found a 68 camaro and it dosent have a title the person who has possesion of it right now is a real estate agent and she is also in charge of the clean up of the houses before they sell them and the car was at one of the houses that she cleaned up and she has the car and I wanna get it off of her so is there anyway of getting a title for it and here are some pics and the price is dirt cheap I cant pass this up
I’ve seen ads in Hemmings Motor News for getting titles in situations like that. If you decide to pass because of no title, let me know. I’d love to have it…I don’t need a title
oh cool car… I would go to AAA And try for that releastate agent to have power of attorney? Or ask AAA if you can get it retitled in your name.
if its been whomevers property for a period of time i cant remember off hand, but im pretty sure you can file for a title after a period of time being left on property,
It varies with circumstances I’m sure, but the answer I got when I called several different places was that the last known owner has to apply for a new title, and then it can be transfered to a new owner, but without the last known owner being in possesion of a title, they can’t issue one to someone else.
I might be wrong, but that’s what I was told several times by different places.
if you go to a local magistrate you can file for a abandond title and he can issue a cort order for you to get a title for it in your name. get the vin number off the car and go in and talk to him.
i’ll have to try that and let you guys know what happens
you can also file for a request of vehicle information from penndot by using this form so that you can find the previous owner http://www.dot10.state.pa.us/pdotforms/dl_forms/dl-135.pdf
