What about that Cobalt SS that you made a thread about and absolutely raved about?
You are so fucking full of shit.
Hows that GM made T/A that you just bought? You know, the same company that you bash in every chance you get.

Did you watch the latest Top Gear episode and are mad they said nice things about GM products and not as nice things about the SRT-8?
This may have been posted already but, GM will be out of money by the end of this year.
I thought they had more time than that.
WTF?
So how much money do we put into failing companies?
Companies fail for a reason.
The domino effect will be devastating.
So what’s the answer, prop up failures only to delay the eminent?
GM won’t be at ZERO dollars, but will not be able to sustain day-to-day activities if they don’t get more money.
Companies do fail for a reason, but it’s not always 100% their fault. In this case, GM is mostly, but not entirely, to blame.
Bail out plus changes to laws (tariffs as mentioned before) plus internal GM changes could make a world of difference.
And DO NOT underestimate the domino effect GM going under would have on the US.
^Like I said it(the domino effect) would be devastating.
I don’t think they will actually “go under” because they will be bought out, it may be under bankruptcy but they will exist in one form or another.
If GM gets govt help/money it most likely will go straight to the union retirement payments.
That does not sit well with me.
It was a great car for the money, but own it for more then a year or 2 and the problems start.
Gm sux. if your a gm hugger then i feel bad for you. I also said GM’s have sucked since 1996 what year is the T/A i bought? lets read before we talk. Let me make it easy for you what im trying to say. GM SUCKS DICK!
Lots of people hate the challenger i can care less i overpayed for something i wanted. Sits fine with me. And which car did they test that was a gm? Probly the g8 which frankly isnt an american car at all. They have no camaro to test yet, Gm is dragging there feet on that fuck up proj.
Weird I never had an issue with my 1998 Formula…
Well maybe we can exclude f bodys. Maybe!
CTS-V and ZR1
They had to pay 10 grand over sticker to buy a SRT-8 and had plenty good to say about it other than it couldn’t take a turn well. Also the security issue was funny.
Watch the video it’s worth watching. Also, I would make sure no one buys that car after they cooked the engine like that.
Lastly, how much less could you have cared?
But there cheap…if these companies put money they dont have into producing a quality vehicle the it would reflect in the price of the car, Because gm certainly isn’t going to absorb it, there broke GL getting American consumers to buy them when the market is tanked and many are laid off/retired early on a laughable pension, they couldn’t afford them, hell people can barely afford the carp they call cars now
There only any good when pushed to the limit, no surprise that they don one thing well and are garbage to drive otherwise.
i can always care less.
You realize, you sound just as bad as the douches ripping on american cars right?
PS. I checked my zip code, all parts in stock.
You do also realize, that there are places not like Buffalo…
not to mention, advanced is not some sort of autoparts warehouse… their stores are small and stocking parts that wear out in 100k miles on a 3 year old relativley obscure car just isnt what they are trying to accomplish…
even dealerships dont always stock your idea of consumable parts…
if you want vw parts there are plenty of sites dedicated to just that.
oh yea and the sites sell them for way less than dealer.
$73/hour with benefits included for GM workers.
Toyots is much lower, like $43/hour.
(Just heard this and wanted to post it)
If this isn’t proof that our profit maximized health care system needs to be reformed, than I don’t know what is…
Based on what?
You are making huge assumptions.
Why can Toyota do it for so much less?
They started here several generations later and aren’t paying out the ass for retiree health care. That figure includes the huge amount they had to dump into a trust to pay for that (also a big cause of their cashflow problems), and divides it into their current output.
