GM is the ruler of the free world

How many times, in How many threads, do I have to point it out to you (insert slang) , that its not MY party. This is gotta be the 3rd or 4th time. Typical, you liberals keep calling people something till they ignore you, then you make a label… its dirty play and your a goon. :catfight
Seriously, dickhead, its not my party… for like the 5th time.

That is all.

If I am a liberal, democrat, pro-Obama or whatever bullshit you come up with, then I am allowed to do the same. It’s the same logic that you use: You vote McCain = You are a GOP fanboi :ohnoes

Sucks doesn’t it?

Shawn, you can play innocent all you want.

You are twisting this around. YOU said that the reason GM was failing is because of the shitty products you think they sell.

I responed by saying no, the reason they are failing is because of the how the business is conducted in stride with the economy failing. You strengthened my argument by saying they were selling the wrong product at the wrong time with Tahoe. I agree. Thats their own dumb fault. But AGAIN it has very little to do with GM cars/trucks as a product.

Dude. Really?

If the product was good, it would sell and they wouldnt be in this mess. The business IS selling products. Producing good products is their business. You cannot separate the two.

i dont think its the fact that they make a horrible car, i think its the fact that for the price of the car you can get a better product, maybe thats what pantsparty is trying to say? i dunno

That’s what I think. No one wants to spend that much on a damn Malibu when they can get a brand new Passat or the like.

We’re saying the same thing. If you can get a better product for the same amount of money, doesnt it make the GM product sub-par? How else can you define it?

Sub-par to certain buyers. It’s all in some ones taste and personally I think a majority of gm passenger cars suck ass. Alot of people like them though…just not enough people

True, but overpriced comes to mind. Yes, a GM product may not be as great as “X” but that doesn’t mean it’s garbage. Just means you can put that same amount of money to better use somewhere else.

i have put 110k on my truck and have had ZERO issues with it besides basic maint. How do you complain about that? Everything still works like brand new if not better

Exactly. Maybe not shit. But still…

I would rather have a Tundra for the price of a Silverado.

Mostly 'cause they look cooler. :tong

Gm trucks are great. Its their cheap looking cars that don’t sell well.

I don’t see why there is a GM and a Chevy lineup of trucks. Same truck, two different makes. All under GM. Stop it.

somewhat, just because something is overpriced doesnt mean that the product is no good, just means its not the best thing you can buy for x amount of dollars

absolutely hate that, dodge does it as well, durango=aspen, 1500=1500, there all the same trucks but with a different name, how stupid is that

I disagree. The Silverado rides better IMO. When you sit in a Tundra, you’re practically sitting on the floor of the truck. When you sit in a Silverado you’re off the floor. I’d take a Silverado any day over a Tundra.

Yea the Silverados ride quality is much better. The tundra is a great truck but I would go with a GM product when it comes to trucks

They can have good products and have shitty sales. Its basic economics. Again, its the way the product is sold.

For example, they have a good product but they push it at the wrong time, or if they have a good product and they sell it at the wrong price, sales will decline or not even exist. Those are just two very simple factors that can affect sales in a major way.

My argument is against Shawn stating that the main reason for GM’s decline in sales is the product.

Could save a lot of money just limiting to one or the other.

Never been in the new Tundra, but I have been in the new Silverado. I did like it. But I said nothing about what you retorted with. I said it LOOKS cooler. ;D
