They priced a brand new Z28, and then all the parts, then figured in labor estimates. It came out to be about $80,000. That 7.0L LS1 isnt cheap, most places want $25,000 for just the motor.
who said that it had to be a 7.0 i never said that we couldnt put a 6liter in there and turbo it and build it to the gills what i thought scfb518t was trying to say is fuck spending 80+ g’s on that just buy a vette and make that fast.

well, I have the stock 5.7L bottom end (besides the cam), and just put on gtp2 heads… doesnt seem like im going the turbo route. gotta love the park rats and how they talk
although if this doesnt give me the results i want… i may just jump on the 6.0L bandwagon and boost it to high heaven.

I said, if im not happy with my results… sometime down the road i may. Can always pull out your cam, sell it, use that money toward a more boost friendly cam.
