print out the part from BFG’s website saying that they are DOT approved. or else call a bfg Rep and see if he will write you a letter on BFG letterhead with proof that they are dOT legal.
I dont think the officer is questioning the legality of the tires, and if he is, thats the easy way out of it. I think the question here is, the actual tread depth of the tires.
