God i hate Mustangs......

Where is he getting his wideband readings from …

Tailpipe sniffer ??
does the car already have some sort of wideband installed ??

Just asking because … recently a motor popped on his dyno while tuning most likely because he was only reading from the driver side header

:headbang:

I have seen that problem before … (second vid) …

Get Jack(Jack)in here … this happened to his vortech 87 GT … im pretty sure it was a ground problem … PM him

lol yes it did…I might have videos of it doing the same thing at home…

^^

Did you just agree with me on something …

I think hell has just frozen over

he just unscrewed one of the 02’s out of the H pipe and put the wideband in there.

All that work for nothing, shoulda just stayed at taffys with us fggt <3

Really ??? up or down stream???

rear O2 sensor, driver side i believe

I hope he shut those off during the first burn …

But still only reading ONE side …

i thought the same thing, but when Chuck tuned my car, my O2 bung was welded into the Y pipe on the passenger side :gotme: i dont know much about this stuff. I can say one thing though, my car runs excellent! Bob Kennedy said he was going to work on it some more today so we will see what happens. As of around 10 last night, he didnt find it yet, he suspected the MAF but that wasnt it. Last i heard was that he suspected the O2’s. I just hope my friend doesnt get bent over the hood when the bill comes.

+1, great place, they tuned my car for me and it runs awesome

well good luck with it …

he should be looking at a nice bill …

You know as well as i do that Rich isnt going to take it there lol And Bob Kennedy says that there is no way in hell your setup NA made 301 on a mustang dyno (numbers dotn lie?), people on here says dont go to kennedys and everyone has mutual hate for P&J’s. Idk im glad i dont have a Mustang anymore, theres no place to go it seems :frowning: . IMO your guy in batavia is the best i have seen so far because your car is still running and it didnt take 5 years to tune it.

Problem with that?

Um … yeah … your only reading what HALF the motor is doing … right ???

And how much do you think the volumetric efficiency, fuel consumption changes from bank to bank? The camshaft lobes on the right of the engine are the same as the left. Even if you had a slight unequal air distribution, via the intake manifold, to 1 cylinder (like #7 on the LS engine) you are only pulling an average of 4 cylinders mixed anyways. You can always check the other side once done tuning. We aren’t talking 2500 hp cars here, which would have a pyrometer in each header primary

^^^^ I think he wins lol

I understand that … but what if you had an injector/spark problem … you would never see it … Right ??

I Know you GM guys have the ability to see whats going on during your runs …

Ford people do not unless your running a stand alone … or a PMS piggyback …
