Going MAFless

the dsm version still uses a maf it’s not speed density (although i think a couple people have been using the maft pro but with dsmlink there are very few out there)

don’t know if the dsmers will be much help with the maft

400 bucks for the system, and figure 100 bucks in add ins…

what i dont see is how it is a true speed density w/o using a water temp sesnor. usually speed density uses air temp and water temp sensors.

i’d say pick up an sds system if u want a cheap speed density setup. or even holley commander 950 as your gm sensors are wire in compatible and the holley can be had for same price as sds w/o having to wire in a haul sender setup. i know the holley has a base map in it for a turbo buick. sds will set up a base to get you running, but at same time it is so easy to tune that a night of making 119 runs with a wideband you would be good to go. dont know how hard the holley is to tune, but so far i havent had any problems on initial startup.
