Going to Boston

Due to recent inspiration from a picture that Fry took I am going to Boston. I am really into history and shit like that, so what is there really to do there? I looked up a few things like ferry tours, and the old WWII street boat tours and what not. To be honest I do not want to go there and feel/look like a tourist. I like just going with the flow of things. Any recommendations are appreciated. Douche bags need not apply in here.

Here is the picture.

Walk the freedom trail and stop at every bar you see for one drink

and check out www.boston.com to see what is going on as far as events. The Celtics could be fun to watch  They don’t play at the same “Gahden” though, so that’s not historical

Thanks for the input. Just booked the trip for the beginning of May.

Blocked at work. What is it?

I can’t tell you… :frowning:

some guy playing the paino in “The Charles”

Sam Adams brewery!

That would make my trip if I went there. Joe, I love you.

I took a work related trip to Boston this past summer. We were not there for very long and did not do any recreational things it was still a very cool place.

When we drove into the heart of the city there were hot bitches crawling EVERYWHERE! It was great eye candy.

at least stop at fenway park even if you cant go in. thats something historical.

and check out the comedy place(Commedy Connection) in Faneuil Hall. They have some good comics there all the time. Artie Lange goes there often then goes to the bars around Faneuil Hall.

He’s going in May, it will be open. In fact, I just got tickets to the Indians/Sox game for May 6th

We have similar interests. I figured it was a no brainer.

if your going when their are games, i recommend getting tickets. ive been there for a game before, first base about 20/30 rows up. fucking sweet!

That we do… I am actually staying in Pawtucket RI. Going down and staying with a friend so I do not have to waste precious drinking money on a hotel.

For the Sam Adams Brewery tour, get there EARLY…

I tried to go last time I was in the city. We showed up at 2pm, and tours were booked full right up through 4:30 pm when they were closed for the day. They said that they keep taking tours even after they close until there’s no more people, but we didn’t feel like waiting for 2.5+ hours…
