i got N64 workign via that emulator on my laptop. Going to plug it into the tv later and she how it looks. Working with a PS3 controller at the moment.

Yeah, that emulator works rather well. I did end up buying one of those adapters last night to use the N64 controller through USB. I get annoyed with the 360 controller on N64, and SNES games, its just overkill. Is your computer new enough you use an HDMI cable right to the tv? or are you using DVI?
