Looking for a complete set of Irons as well as decent woods. I have a budget in mind but it is very flexible. I do not want any $70 crap clubs. I am looking for a decent equipment, just do not want to buy it new as it would be like buying a new Land Rover. I am a righty, and I would like a standard through moderate stiff shaft.

:tup: I have found a couple of good deals, but I am not sure that I need as good of clubs as the ones I found are. They are pretty much Pro clubs and that is well beyond my level. I just want better than average clubs that are in good shape. Let me know what you have… I was planning on buying something this weekend and getting a quick 9 in to try them out, but the weather does not look too favorable so I have some more time now.
Did you check with SilverGT? I know he had clubs he was giving away…Not sure on the quality.

Here is what I got. They are Powerbilt Grand Slam Oversize irons. PW - 3, steel shafts and like brand new Golf Pride Grips. If you want to try them out feel free. They need a bath which they will get before you use them. Price should be very reasonable.
OH ya PS if you want to try them tomorrow around 5, I am playing 9 at Southshore. Think about it.
Wow… I forgot to look back at this thread. I will have to look over this.
i may be selling my clubs also, genuine callaway x-22 irons 3-sw, walter hagen driver 13.0 loft, cheap putter, 3 tour-x hybrid clubs and a brand new precice bag. $250.00 for everything. irons have true temper steel shaft, med flex, driver shaft is graphite mid shaft. irons are def not cheapo, nor is the driver, but the putter is.
Did you check sports replay? they have some stuff there
