he opened the club face up so he could hit the ball with the heel of the club so it pushes the ball straight down and the ground springs it straight up in the air…
Its a joke.
realed his back arm way back too to flaten the club face. He was proly using somethin like a 60 degree lob too. The greater the degree of lob the easier it is to get the culb face to sweep underneath the ball and pop it straight up.
my friend at my country club can do this and ive gotten it to work once or twice. i had to use a 62 degree wedge to get it to pop up right and make sure the ball was in grass propped up properly too.
