What would you have done if the stoped…kept driving prolly so what was the point of chasing him

Got pulled over twice in one week
Once as I’m going to talk to an Advertiser up in CP, on Rt9, a yellow Lotus Elise was in 1/4 mile behind for a while. Then as soon as a straight away came up, I see the yellow dot getting bigger and bigger in the rear view, until he blows by me and keeps going ahead. So I’m thinking to myself “Alrighty…”
Then I see him quickly grab a left and go down a side street.
As I keep going further up, I see a cop in the oncoming lane go by, and then a few seconds later another one I’m thinking they are looking for the Lotus. Then I see a cop in the rearview booking from a distance in my direction, I’m in the left lane. I see him somewhat behind flip the lights on, so me and a big rig move out of the way to let him go by, he gets next to the big rig but behind me, the bigrig starts pulling over and he gets behind me so I pull over.
Comes up to the window and tell’s me he didn’t notice the inspection sticker in the window, and sees that my windshield is cracked (I had the 10 day pass on inspection… expired)
Gives me tickets for both and tells me I have a day to fix the windshield and it will be dropped.
As he’s walking away I hand ask him if he wants and issue of Shift… he goes “No why” I respond, “So you can help spread the word around, for me to collect advertising to help me pay for the tickets you just gave me? ;D” He laughs and goes “Nah, but it’s a nice car on the cover”.
3 Days later.
Going down rt7 about to pull into Doug Neils Insurance agency (it’s a left turn) so I get into middle lane, and I see a colonie PD sitting directly in front of me in the middle lane as well. I pull into the agency, go into the the building and come out a few minutes later. Cop is still sitting in middle lane. I pull out of the agency and take a right (he’s pointing the same direction as I took). As I pull out I look in the rear view and see the cop going down the middle lane trying to merge with traffic. All I can hear in my head is the Jaws theme music. He gets directly behind me, and instead of switching lanes like I was going to, to get into the Mobil, I just pull over into Keeler lot.
He comes up to the car and goes “You know why I’m pulling you over?”
Me - “No front plate?”
Him - "Yep brushes snow away on windshield and inspection
I start getting all my info and explaning that I just got tickets for this stuff, and then I look out of the window at the face (lowered car + tall officer didn’t see the face) and go “Heey what’s up?” :lol
He goes "Vlad?! *gives me back all my info
He gets back into the car and pulls up with his driver side to my driver side (it was cold out) and we start talking window to window about the lot, the car, the paper (I gave him an issue), and just generally bullshitting. He tells me it would be a good idea to put the plate in the window, and to put the snow back over the inspection :lol
I guess I can add two more to my list.
ive gotten 8 speeding tickets, 3 running redlights and like 7 no seatbelt tickets, none of which i am proud of, i have never been let go either, i used to drive like a dick when i was younger, ive tried to change my ways a little
Make that two more pull-overs… no tickets :ninja
