im looking for a program where i can cut a part out of a song and save it as a new mp3 for ringtones. anyone reccomend any programs?

xp has a sound recorder, which i know for a fact will let you edit out parts of songs.
It appears you can only save as a wave, but you can just use an mp3 converter to fix that.

I’ve used it to do that exact same thing. Just clipped the beginning and end of a song.
