I’ve done a s15 dash swap into my 180 and I’m looking for some sharp looking rockers and a couple push buttons and a few other things to complete my progress thus far but i’m always making little projects, Canadian tire used to have Decent amount of Illuminated rockers that were small enough for my liking but they’ve stopped bringing them in …
Lots of trimming on the underside of the dash had to be done, lots of work with a rotary tool, had to drill out some metal brackets that are inplace for the original 180 dash, door panels clear with millimeters to spare but it’s a nice fit. So far the wiring hasent been to bad just extending some sections and installing custom switches, as for the actual guage cluster that might take some work and if it doesent work I’ll duplicate the look with aftermarket guages arranged in a similar patern. I’ve allso reworked some of the orignal venting to connect to the dash but I’m still working on it.
I went there a few weeks and they are hit and miss. I was shopping for LED’s and noticed that anything below 10,000 mcd was a bargain, and 12,000 mcd led’s were more than $1 per led!!! That kind of price is waaaaay out to lunch.
try electrosonic or newark elctronic wholesale…try www.newark.ca, I know as an electrician youll be able to get what you need through 1 of the two…I believe both have locations in the GTA
