I’m looking to pick up a stock, longblock D15b8 (EG CX for example)… or at least a head.
Any good sites; scrapyards; street corners?
Or even better, does anyone have one sitting around after their l33t swap?
I can’t post on h-t for some reason, no access , so I thought I’d check in hurrr in the meantime.
little help?

Any reason you are going for the B8?
I know someone had a D15B7 on here for sale for rather cheap a while back

I don’t know if he still has it.

Quick rebuild. Direct replacement.
Background: 94 CX Hatch that’s pissing raw oil out of the exhaust. Decent compression #'s, so I’m betting on valve seals. Also needs clutch.
I figure that I might as well grab a cheap longblock to rebuild (re-ring, bearings, valve seals), buy a clutch, and drop it all in.
One day downtime for him.
