got a d15b1 laying under a tarp in the yard from the swap in Scanz89’s car we need gone. ran great when it came out, about 100k miles on it. was getting 45mpg. needs a few parts as we broke/lost a few in the swap…mostly intake parts. perfect for swap to replace a blown motor or a spare for building or whatever. $50 come get it.

d15s are useless to build. sure the pistons are the same as a 1.6, but the rods are diff, and only one company makes a set, and they’ll run you about $700. not to mention, the b1 cam is horrible if you want to make any power, so you’d have to change that too.
basically the only thing this motor is good for is to replace a blown one, like the OP said.
great price though, i paid $125 for a d15b1 a year ago and thats a goo price.
i wont be posting pics, its a hassle, and this thing is just taking up space and would rather someone take it for $50 than to put it to the curb.
my bad i just had no idea what it looked like and didnt feel like doin a google search cuz im lazy
