ive had cheesecake factory a few times and the food has impressed me every time. last time i went there though it was an hour wait and i felt like i was in jersey trying to get dinner on a friday night…
a while back there was a little hole in the wall sandwhich place downtown albany on a cobblestone 1 way. i think it was maiden lane honestly. used to hit it up for lunch when i worked at the DEC it was top notch.
i also used to love the corned beef at maurice’s. tried to go to the one by the lot on monday but it was closed because of labor day… what a letdown after driving and hour and spending lots of money at harbor freight

Cheesecake fac has fantastic ribs! Me and the woman go there weekly. Went to Creo on western lastnight which is on the corner of western and fuller for the second time. I liked it.

DOOOOO NOOOOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT EVER EVER EVER eat at Nico’s on State St across from Proctor’s theatre. The food is NOT anything to talk about, and the service sucks. I’M PRETTY FUCKING SURE that the girl at the counter was dropped on her head multiple times DAILY, deprived of oxygen often and fed paints chips REGULARLY.
