Good price on transmission jack

2000 lb, adjustable saddle, regular $299, on sale for $199 in store only, plus 15% off coupon in flyer. Lowered height is only 5-3/4".

I think I might pick one up since I’ve rented one several times already. Never hurts to have an extra jack around.

doesn’t seem too bad of price. mine wasn’t much more than that though. at regular cost. but for as many times you will use it that should be fine.

transmission jack? wtf is that? i thought i was a transmission jack! freaking dans pos celica mother fucker

Doesn’t sound to bad.

I think they have one even cheaper than that. I got mine from them and i thought it was $99 for a 800lbs. You will probley never have that need for one that heavy duty.

lay on floor… board on chest

drop roll

Thats a real nice one, i believe they have a cheaper one down there…

i buy it off u when ur done & u canuse it anytime u want

anyone know where i can rent one… in the middle of a tranny swap myself

I used Fayco rental in Belle Vernon. Also used Farnham & Pfile but they cost more.

Where in Pittsburgh are you?

i just use a jack and a peice of wood…

Or just do it like Jeff. Lay on floor, Have Paul set transmission on chest with no board, and proceed to lower car on Jeff :bigthumb:

I live in West Mifflin… im having enough trouble getting the frigin housing bolts out let alone trying to get the thing onto my chest lol

I liked this one because it was so low, not necessarily the lifting capacity. I know the transmission’s not that heavy since I can lift it into the trunk of the car by myself, but I’d rather not take a chance damaging it if it falls off of a jack with a piece of wood. And the adjustability is nice when the dowel pins are being stubborn lining up.

And I like buying tools.

Did you lower the transmission a little and let the motor tilt backwards (with a jack under the motor)? I use about 3 feet of extensions & a universal to get to the upper bolts.

They are the way to go. I bought one last year when I was trying out different converters last year. Trans was out and back in every weekend for 5 weeks.

bs pic with a penny of you lifting the tranny it weighs more…
buy it ill rent it off of you!..
