got my 1st tattoo.

i guess it was glow in the dark ink that contained elements not intended for humans and that was toxic.

although UV ink can be bad as well…
here is one brand of UV ink that has material safety data sheets and claims to be safe

thread hijack anyone?

What’s the story behind the design?

if u wanna go the way of UV it is HIGHLY recommended(sp?) that you just get a small dot tattoo somewhere where people cant see it, because it reacts different to peoples skin, my friend started to get it done and had a really really bad rash where they started it,and the tattoo person said he wouldnt finish it

not a dramatic story…
i have always wanted a sun tattoo in the center of my back.
after my mom died I wanted to somehow incorporate it…

i had draw up a few different things and the center always looked funny since I did not like any face i had ever seen.
thats probably why it took so long to get.
after i saw a checkered flag online, i tried to figure out how it could be incorporated.
that was the idea that was the easiest to transfer to skin i guess.

in the red lines, it has “MOM”, “IH”, and “KH” (16 m/o daughter and wifes initials)
and i will have to go back in ~9 months to get the next babies initials added.
there is 2 spots left, so if it’s twins, i’m out of room.

Nice. Tatoos are very addicting in my opinion. I’ve got 4 so far and plan on more.

at the moment, i can’t think of anything i would want, or where to put one…

maybe nipples on my back or something

yeah i got my first one and im going today to start my sleeve…they are adicting, its awesome.

id reccommend satarting small for ure first one.

I didn’t start small… I have a 7" tribal sun/pentacle inbetween my shoulderblades… got it when I was 19… I’m now 26…
I need to get it re-colored which I think I’m going to have done this summer when I go to Tennessee to see a friend of mine who owns 3 different tat shops.

welcome to the club, prepare for a serious addiction

tattoos are addicting… i now alternate between tats and piercings, atleast half are removable

nice work

Yes, they are addicting. In 2001 I had none. Now 8 and have several in mind when I get the chance.

yeap, just a little addicting, between my 18th and 19th birthday i dumped more than 1g on ink. Plan on getting my seventh next month

coo…I gotta finish drawing mine. I wanna get the maltese cross with the # 42 in the center in flames (my firefighter #).
