ok, where is the switch located on the transfer case, i have the part
on top behind where the front drive shaft goes in, 7/8 wrench & good luck,pull off vacume lines unscrew switch,install new one,put vac lines back on ,make sure there lines up correct!

those vacuum lines are a pain in the ass to change on those, If I remember correctly you have to take out the battery tray etc to get to it
changed the vacuum switch. 4wd still does not engage. i tried driving it with the 4wd shifted in 4wd, then took it out and now it has a SES light, OBD 1. any other ideas?
check the vacume actsirator under battrey tray!

btw, now the 4wd low light came on and stays on. it is not in 4wd of either type
