yes awd but with a cracked throw out bearing and clutch wasnt disengaging for shit, and everyone needs aftermarket clutches with upgrades causs of course the car only comes with a clutch that supports its factory hp not much more, and i was saying the stock dsm drivetrain is good shit, not the stock clutch of course. and shaggy i thought u owned a dsm or is it a shitty 7 bolt 99, everyone knows 1g are more stronger and durable than 2gs so whatever on that. 2g may look nicer and newer but built worse as far as the motor its just they way u look at it i guess.

2g drivetrain is a lot stronger than 1g tranny included i hate to say it, the motors are fine people give them bad reps because ooooo they’re gonna crank walk, comeon that’s shit. people build 1gs because the suspension is designed for drag racing and they’re lighter not to mention a 6 pack of 1gs cost as much as 1 2g . :rolleyes: as for the clutch comment i went 13.4 on my stock clutch and it never slipped in gear only on the launch i swapped it when i had shep build my tranny.

that and the 1g ecu knock reading ability but us 95’s (me n george) can get dsmlink and have that and more…the only thing i like is the low compression for me it’s personal preference.

your 2g motor as good as a 1g is all opinion. but most recomend 1g motor over 2g everyone knows that, u dont see 2g swaps into 1g cars.

like bluemeanie said,most 1g guys use 2g pistons.and if u REALLY wanna narrow it down,the hardcore dsm drag racers use the 2g heads instead of the 1g’s
yup 2g heads > 1g heads that’s for sure…i wish i never gave mine up but oh well
