GPNY Pt II 1/25/09

I’ll be down if I’m recovered form surgery by that date. It’s on the 6th, so I don’t see why not.

i’d be down to go… and come in last place AGAIN :headbang

In!!!
Time to start losing weight so I pwn even more :umm

I definitely see what you mean, I like the idea of an end of season, but how about a mid-offseason? Nearly everyone here does HPDE’s, Auto X’s, or runs at LVD (or a mixture), and the seasons start and end at just about the same time.

If I remember right, the guy who seemed to be running the show last time we went said we kind of got lucky that the tracks weren’t to busy and that we were able to run more or less at the same time, should I shoot them an email about if we can reserve some time, but not rent out the whole track?

You can try, but they probably won’t let you. No point in letting you reserving a slot when they want to sell time… Not to be a pessimist but I’m pretty sure they won’t give us jack unless we show them the money…

I would advise that you call ahead and just ask if there is another large group coming at that time (to their knowledge). Then, go even earlier than last time, like be there by 11 AM so we have the place to ourselves again. Just don’t let the guy talk you into their whole sales pitch on renting by hour.

Unless they drastically cut prices, there’s no need for that.

INNNNNNNNNN!!!.

looking to kick kramers ass AGIAN

If .3 seconds is kicking ass ::slight_smile: ;D

If people are willing to get there at the 9AM opening or a little later, like Archie said, we’d get more runs in without interruption

since you wiegh 100 less. then yes. its kicking your ass. :cool

maybe that dbag wont be all huffy about all of us coming. :idiots

I hear ya… There’s a little bit more to it than just straight out best lap time (insert sour grapes here) ;D

In Soviet Russia… CCCP :motherland

That’s true, but if you want to get technical, with all of my weight being up top due to my giraffe-like neck and all of your weight being down low due to your large “gas tank”, your center of gravity is 2 feet lower than mine, making your kart handle considerably better. I also have more wind resistance because I’m 4 feet taller than you, and your “front bumper” acts as a spoiler, creating downforce. Based on my calculations, due to my performance handicap, I beat YOU by 2.7 seconds!!!11!!!1 :excited

:rofl :rofl :rofl that is all

i smoked both of you :nana and will resume

:sad

if u guys do this in the summer im in . i have to ice race on sundays in the winter

I definitely want to see one of your ice races, is there a thread about them, like when/where they are?

And I know that I personally won’t be up for one in the summer, between tires, auto x, LVD and the 1 or 2 HPDE’s that I want to get into i won’t have ~$100 to drop on something that could be done in the winter to fulfill my racing addiction :nod

Because you only weigh 70lbs

Yes so according to Ryan’s math and correction factors, Joey lost to everyone by an average of 2.4 seconds last time.

Very true.
