GPS Handheld to borrow

Anyone have a GPS handheld that i can borrow for two weeks while im in idaho…

looking for one with US TOPO loaded on it.

mostly prob wont use it but i have full topo maps and my route planned but when your at 10,000 elevation with nothing but a backpack this item could come in handy if we get turned around…

i looked into getting one but cant afford to drop that kinda of loot right now…

so if someone has one i can borrow it would be much apprieciated…i will take full responisbilty if anything happens to it

Hopefully someone will let you borrow theirs. I would if I had one. I doubt it though. Not enough people on here are that courtious.

I wouldn’t say that at all. I’ve seen plenty of people help each other out on here.

Side note: this thread is in on-topic.

if you get lost they’ll never get it back.:hitit:

hey stink breath…yes i have plently of topo maps and compass and my route allready plotted…

but

i can also carve a pot out of a log and boil water in that…but its much more convient if i just take a metal pot with me…

its a convience item that would be nice to have…

The are we are going the closest civilization is a part time manned ranger station 65 miles away…

Navy Seals are trained in topo and compass but for some reason that all are equiped and required to carry one of these

I have just bought alot of spelizied equipment allready…and i just cant afford to drop that kinda of loot right now on one.

as to reply to the next post…Pittspeed members are allways helping others out…

they also make this stuff called BEAR SPRAY

but i think id rather use my 40 cal glock that might work a lil better then spraying a bear with pepper spray…
