The only one I was a little surprised about was how low the cost/mile was for pure electric. Time for the car companies to get serious about converting their hybrids to plug in hybrids, with electric motors capable of doing 100% of you in town driving with no gas assistance.
That’s a vehicle I would seriously consider owning, because you could see some real savings since most of your in town trips would be done purely on battery power.
The obvious down side is the fact that will a bunch of people all charging their cars you’d put a higher load on our already peaked electrical grid. Because a lot of the cars would be plugged in over night when electricity use is way down the current grid could probably support a lot of them though.
