Again, someone posting internet links like they know what the fuck they are talking about… the company I do work for had a few violations. Want to know what they were? They got two for a tear in a silt fence that let a little bit of mud go into a stream during a torrential downpour (when the stream was already completely full of silt), and they ran their one length of casing string a bit too deep.
Anyone that has dealt with any sort of government inspection knows that every time they come out to do a check, they are not going to leave until they find at least a few things. Job security. Back when I owned my pool company, I got a pool shut down because the depth markers I spraypainted on the pool deck were 6 3/4" instead of 7". It was listed as a “serious safety violation”.
Most if not all of those violations pose ZERO threat to the environment. But thanks for providing proof that the DEP is doing their job and beyond adequately keeping an eye on these gas companies.
