Greetings everyone, this is my first post here. Went to the sticky in this section and it said to introduce myself, so here we go. I know this is going to be WAY more info than any of you want to know but it is part of my eBay About Me page and is the quickest (and easiest) way. BTW-I was introduced to this site by “The1SloShelby”. SHELBY DODGES RULE!!! Like many of you out there, I am into cars. They have been a major part of my life for over 25 years. I have always been motorsports oriented. In my teen years I raced motocross. In the late 70’s, early 80’s I restored a documented 1968 Z/28 Camaro. In the early 90’s I built a blown Pro-Street 68 Camaro and for a short time campaigned a 67 Barracuda dragcar. In the mid 90’s I raced a UMP dirt modified (now THAT was a rush). In the late 90’s I became involved with the mid to late 80’s turbo Dodge 2.2 ltr 4 cylinders. I know what you are thinking, 4 cylinders, but until you have driven a 250+ HP 4 cylinder you can’t imagine what it is like. I now own 2 1985 GLH turbo Omni’s (had 6 total), a 1986 Shelby GLHS Omni #170 of only 500 produced and a 1987 Shelby GLHS Charger #508 of only 1000 produced. I have a 377cid Vega (9.90’s) for sale and I just purchased (11/8/03) a 68 SS396 Camaro (12.90’s). I hope this wasn’t too much for a first post.

Oh wow! Big ups to a fellow first gen 'maro guy. I have a 68 plain jane that the guy I bought it from put a 327/4 speed in. Big long story but I hope to have it back on the road soon… More of a road racer that a drag racer, or I at least like to think that way.
UMP modifieds! Rock. #2 on my next thing to do list. What tracks did you race at? I grew up around various drit tracks up here. Have any pics?
