my car is making a grinding noise when I let go of the gas when it is in 1st and 2nd gear. Is this a sign of a bad clutch about to die??

It is probably your clutch you are hearing. Subconciously when ur letting go of the gas you dont realize but you are letting go of the clutch as well?? I duno, but in idle, press the clutch and release it, see if you hear the noise. If you do hear a noise then its probably your throwout bearing, mine is gone too.
It doesnt make any sound when In neutral. It feels like theres something rubbing when I ease off the gas pedal(1st&2nd gear only). I dont hear it when I depress the clutch pedal.
