grounding kit

nah man, josh does’nt do bussiness like that, i trust him

holds tongue. :? Theres no harm in shopping around a bit before you buy something.

I paid $120 for a Buddyclub VTEC controller. Go look up prices on that.

well i installed the grounding kit, was’nt able to instal the way it was designed did’nt have enough room, so i just connected the sires around to diff points on the car, did’nt feel much diff or notice much diff, did i instal wrong or something, or is there really no gain with this kit?

They say its does work (people swear it) but i think its a placebo effect, you think you are gaining power but might be not… personally how is better grounds going to gain you power i dunno…

You really have to check the spot your grounding first…

Here’s how to install a five wire kit on a 350Z

I have seen dyno results for these kits that prove they add horsepower. When you add 5 hp its pretty hard to notice a difference from the drivers seat.

what are the ground wire usually made of? copper?
im looking to get some, and just wondering what brand is best or if i should just make my own from home depot wire?

^^^^

I should get robbies ground wires this week and will post a short review.

yah i was thinking that but if there just made of copper then you can go to homedepot and buy some coper wire w/ plastic around it(for like 5$) and then buy the screw pieces and attach them on with solder or something and BAM 10$ ground wire kit! rather then 50 from robbie.(i dont care how they look anyways.)

hint hint: if you want them to work! then grab a multimeter, set it to voltage and check the spots where you mount em, if there is voltage add that wire, if not, then leave it alone…

Something usual from a person who knows wiring shit (not me, my dad)

I bought these here and have yet to install them on my car. I’ve got a Modified mag where they did the same thing on their s14. Import Tuner uses these on a lot of their power pages and they’ve got proof that they work.

Kris, I know n my grounding kit I did not run one off my positive, it is off of my negative, your’s went off your negative because you have that little A’pexi box that has that fancy red light (like the little whore your car is), so it needs a power soutce to light it up, but a very basic grounding kit is going to need it on their negative side (I’m sure we talked about this at one of the Auto-X’s.
