Heading Back to Buffalo yesterday and saw this weird looking squatted SUV thing merge next to and a little behind me. He gets over to pass as do I and I just accelerated away to ensure I didn’t cut him off. As I am in boost, I could tell he was trying to keep up. I move over and he does the ricer fly-by as we approach the tolls and that thing smelled raw almost like the old carb’d cars . Roll through the tolls next to each other and both get on it, I had him by 2-3 cars to 70. End up next to each other again, owner says it has a “built 4.3l” Any idea what these things do in the 1/4?
Usually stock they do about a 14.0 at around 97mph. They are mosters from a dig but fall flat on thier face in 2nd and 3rd gear. I almost bought one back in 03 but it had to many problems.
