Truthfully, I really don’t. The G8 was an amazing deal, too good to pass up for being the “wrong” color. The Blazer was going to be whatever color I could find that wasn’t a rot bucket which is nearly impossible, just happened to be red. The Typhoon is the perfect truck to tinker and race, (great drivetrain, higher miles, decent body) again just happened to be red.
What is the deal with these trucks? I always see you posting about them
They were a limited production (4,697 Typhoons, 2,995 Syclones) that had a turbo 4.3 V6 and AWD. Were rated at 280hp and 350-360tq they were good for 0-60 in the mid 4 second range and did the quarter in the mid to high 13’s. Freak stock trucks have put out over 400 torques on a dyno and ran 13.2’s in the quarter.
They come lowered and with the factory cladding and other Sy/Ty specific items (people ask me where I got my body kit all the time) They were assembled by PAS Inc, the same ones that did the Turbo Trans Ams
GM didnt like them because they were faster than corvettes (and ferrari’s) of their time

I find it funny that you say it has higher mileage when it is twenty years old with only 110 thousand miles.
that is high mileage for one of these. Considering my Grand National has only 56k on it, this is “really high”.

being a seattle vehicle, and knowing they havent used salt until recently, that thing has to be pretty clean underneath

It was originally a Texas truck until a few years ago when the owner I bought it from moved to Seattle. He never drove it anyway haha. Its in great shape underneath.
