Stock 2000 GTP 70,000 miles owned since 30,000 and plan on keeping. The supercharger oil was “changed at 20k” by dearlership. I have asked the service people at 3 dealerships about changing it agian and was told “we never serviced a supercharger before”.
so my question. Should I do it / have it done or run it till it dies.
I don’t think that would be safe. Maggie is driving the car and she almost ran you over with the S-10. For her this thing needs a de-tune, a 12 point and a chute incase she misses a turn and needs help landing. LOL
dealers dont like to cange the oil-they would rather fill clean on top of dirty or warrenty the sc out.
you need a vaccuum pump like the one eastwood or griots has(great investment) after it sucks out all the nasty oil youll need 2 and 1/3 rd bottles of gm to fill.(thats how youll know its all out)
i changed mine and the pitt club gp out all the time.
This may sound dumb but which plug is for the oil? When I had the cover off doing other work I noticed a few plugs on front passengers side either allen or square I can’t remember. Just a refference point will do.
I was just wondering because mine has caused some sleepless nights.
Shift park interlock $500+
Rear speakers no signal ?
Evap control wire 1 week in my garage and $50 later found bad wire in loom.
Now low coolant light. Rad full and Advanced claims they can’t get the sensor. They list a sensor but it goes in the overflow mines in the Rad. So now I get to pay way to much to get it from GM.
