Once there is a warrant out you might as well turn yourself in. Different situation if they were looking for “this unknown person in this YouTube vid”. It’s not a big enough crime to spend the rest of your life on the run. I would have had a lawyer at my side when I walked into that police station though.
Yep. This falls under the never talk to a cop alone if you are under investigation for ANYTHING.
After my run in with a certain Buffalo Police captain this year I have a very low opinion and trust of police officers. I vote for option three of retaining a good lawyer and doing what he advised. Someone like Saul Goodman.

He would have. Unless they can ID him, they would only been sending violations to the owner of the plates and bike. They wouldn’t have been able to charge him with speeding directly until they can tell its him.
