Picked up a new bike, so my garage has 2 non-SS bikes in it, and I feel silly looking wearing a full face sportbike helmet on the vmax… As a result I rarely wear a helmet it seems.
I’m looking for a half/open face style helmet to wear around town on hot days so I don’t feel so guilty going out unprotected.
Problem is, I test rode the ducati with a Shoei Platinum RJ or something like that, fit snug, felt great as I rode around, but the second I looked in a mirror I looked like an idiot… the thing was GIGANTIC looking.
So, since its mandated that you guys wear helmets in NY, what are the cruiser guys wearing that isn’t uncomfy/goofy looking. This will also double as a spare passenger helmet if need be in the future.
