I bought the $30 7" grinder… works great.
perfect. i need stuff. sweet.
i am going go on sunday. need to pick up a motor stand. and some mic. stuff.
The new model sucks and will only torque to 80 ft-lbs and untorque 75 ft-lbs. I bought two because it was $10 more than buying a spare battery, and they both were shit. They no longer have the old model as far as I know.
haha…you called the shit…poop.
The one I bought from them about a year ago wouldn’t spin the lugs off the Prizm (a little rusty) after I broke them loose by hand. I sat there letting it pound away for about 30 seconds, until it started to smell like it was going to catch on fire, then brought it back for a refund. 250 ft/lbs … BULLSHIT.
i bought impact gun bits and one cracked after a few uses
Anyone know if there is a sale on air compressors?
I don’t think that anyone here is dumb enough to pick up a metal lathe from HF. You guys make it sound like a HF grinding disc will fall apart within 3 seconds of use. Sheesh

2 gallon 100 psi air compressor 49.99
I just happen to have the sale paper. I just came from there bought some of those blue rubber gloves for oil changes and a 50ft fish tape for work.

I was there a while back and they had a 3-wheeled engine stand for like $35. The 4-wheeled ones are around $50 I think.

I also bought a pneumatic cutoff tool for $6.99 and a bunch of disks for /$0.59 each.

.99 tape measures were another one of my favorite buys. i lose those damn things all the time.
