First youre not going to get a full suspension for 150, and might help to post how tall he is.

Original Poster - You’ll also need to define your definition of “decent” because to me $150 won’t even buy you a “decent” fork.

Yes I know you’re not going to get anything amazing for 150 but “decent” is attainable. Like I said, hard-tail is also ok.

If he’s looking for a “decent” full suspension, go to Toys-R-Us, I picked up a dual suspension alum frame Schwinn, came with front disc brakes and high rise poly wheels/spokes all for $210. I’ve already trailed it, it actually held up way better than expected.
