I went to the Roxy Closing Party earlier this year… Peter Rauhofer was spinning. Insane musically, but he’s like the king of the homosexuals in NYC. Add to the fact that this was the closing night of a venue that was around for something like 20 years, literally outside of our group (mostly NYC DJs/hoes), there was maybe 5 other women in the building filled with 2,000 shirtless gay men.
It was def. and UGHHHHHHHHHH but the music was so good and luckily we were isolated by the bar with our own hoes.
I dont think Circa was open the last time I was up there over the summer. From the description on their website it sounds like its in the old joe. building. Republik is on that block as well. http://www.republiknightclub.com

Gatien is a fucking GENIUS… the building has tons of lit panels that change colors when you put any pressure on the tiles. There’s a video on youtube.
Gonna take a bit of time for it to explode I think… similar to Pacha NYC when it first opened, i’ll prob aim to come up next time someone I want to see spins there… like DT :touchy:
