Hasek’s lucky he got to that guy before he could get his head up…because all it took was that guy to glance up once, and it woulda gone in the record books for the dumbest play a hall of fame goalie made…

I was a goalie for a long time and I blasted some guy during a race to the puck. it was him going full throttle so he got the breakaway and me going full throttle out of the net to deprive him of the breakaway… the fun part happened when we got to the puck at the same time. he didn’t get a breakaway and didn’t score.
Classic Hasek for ya… he does that all the time
