Swapped back to the summer tires Saturday after the Swerve crew put a nice fresh balance on them.
What does everyone else have planned?

Getting a new set of summers in April since my inspection is due then, and my snows have a slight chance of not passing.
Swapped my summers back on after topping off the air pressure Sunday. It was such a beautiful day and looking at the forecast for this week I said why the hell not. For the 1-2 more soppy snows we may get, my summers will be fine.
Cleaned, bagged and stored the snows, but it seems like I could use a fresh balance on the summers after taking them out on the highway last night.
2 of my summer tires were missing the weights completely (thanks Licatas for using sticky weights without asking me). I’m glad I had Swerve do all 4 because one of the ones with press on weights was off 1/2oz as well.
Going to today. I think the snow is done…
Mine aren’t terrible but i’ll get them balanced up soon. Just bought a mountain bike yesterday too so maybe i’ll just leave this in the garage and Bike to work from now on!
Swapped out my front snows for all seasons yesterday. Just need to find a new tire for the rear (put a nail through sidewall last Fall ) and I’ll swap the rears out.
Putting the stock 18s on when my car is done getting repaired but I also have some fresh summer wheels to go on when I get them mounted/balanced.
What bike did you end up with?
Swapped about 6 weeks ago.
Gone as of last week.
After seeing the heavy snow fall didn’t stick to the roads at all this past week and the predicted seventy degrees on Thursday, I’ll be putting them on this week.
I voted for winter is coming even though I don’t really believe that. It’s more of the fact that as a rule I usually don’t take them off until April. I’m not going to have the time to swap over before then anyway.
I went with last years Cannondale SL4 HT 29’er and got a great deal on it new. The guy at the shop also told me that when the 2012 sl4 's in the XL frame come in at the end of the month he’d allow me to swap over within the 30 day return policy.
The only reason i’d switch is due to the hydraulic discs on the 2012. I’d be stuck with the price difference but i’m thinking it may be worth it.
Sweet ass bike for the money though. Let’s be real, i’m no pro and this will do for many years to come or until I decide I want to get more into it, and upgrade.
I just did it yesterday on my Audi (went from snows to high performance all seasons).
the BMW is staying in storage for a bit.
wheres the option for “im waiting for the salt to wash off the roads before i put the summer wheels back on” ?
^^thats what im waiting for. so probably this weekend after another shower or two. i dont have factory wheels anymore, so my winter wheels serve dual purpose as having snow tires and so i can keep my summer wheels clean in the garage so they dont get shitted up.
^ We’ve had some decent rain since the last time the salt trucks were out so I’m sure you’re fine. It doesn’t take a lot of rain to wash away salt since salt naturally dissolves in water. I’m hoping Amherst get’s their sweeper trucks out soon to start getting all the dirt that built up off the shoulders.
fresh salt in the west seneca/op area from this weekend… huge granular chunks of salt.
:picard: Someone clearly wanted some truck driver overtime this weekend.
I was out on the bicycle and saw it… no sand, pure salt.
hopefully in the next week or two, busy month…
