Hella supertone installation location...

The OEM lotus horn is weak, and since the car is so low, it seems common for people to be backed into when waiting in lines… i guess. I figure it can’t hurt, I bought them at a great price.

Coming from the STi world, I’m used to seeing a lot of hella supertones installed behind the grills . I really like the look.

I’m just wondering how that would look behind the mesh of the exige bumper… They would look a little more subdued compared to the STis, because they would be back a little bit more.

I already have a red tow hook in front… I feel like it would look pretty awesome. I realize that I would need to remove the front clam to do this. I’m wondering if it would be too ricey…

Otherwise I’ll just place them in a similar location to the stock horn.

a lotus is not ricey, therefore cannot be made to look ricey

It’ll probably look pretty cool. Would be a PITA though if you didn’t like it.

I think it would look good.

I like this idea.
And in the event you ever bring this thing to a track event. hook=function.

Might be kinda cool, I can change the position to your liking if need be.

^ I would guess farther apart, with the tow hook in the middle.

HAHA I must admit I totally forgot LOL so yes further apart obv

i dont think theyd be quite that “big” either.

i have supertones on my wrx. I love when someone almost backs into me, they almost shit themselves

Agreed, original post edited, i still should put the tow hook in but it gives a decent Idea. they might still need to be a bit smaller too.

yea that looks better…

Coming from the man thats color bind  JkJk thanks

i would do it how ian positioned them

train horns.

I wouldn’t personally, I think with the tow hook in there in might looks clustered and kinda ricey, but I think a bit of :snky: could be cool (If it can be done that is)

yeah or that way^ lol’

i haz no photoshop or i woulda done that one first, i just didnt know what it was called on the bumper position to actually be able to tell someone how to do it lol

Put one facing front, one facing back out the back of the car

HaHa That would be cool, Im not chopping it though LOL

How much are these, and how loud are they exactly?
