My new install - beep beep

Ok so I had to put one in the new car because I love the sound of it. Basically I just took a couple scrap pieces of sheetmetal from work and bent them up for what I wanted. Measured twice and cut once, ya right, got it all fitted into the engine bay, then took it out and mounted everything. I ran all the wires last night in the living room, so hopefully Friday I can get the horn mounted in the car and I will be scaring the shit out of people in no time. Going to paint the whole bracket black at work today, so gidde up and enjoy.

DAMN BOY, YOU SHOULDA WENT WITH THE 5-HORN TRAIN HORN!!

Fugg, sorry about the caps…

HAHAHAHAHAAHA

YES!!!

that is gonna be awesome

Someone needs to go with me and help me off a train horn…

I am pretty sure this will be loud enough. The last one me and pretty much L8Apex1 did everything, but we had to mount it inside the frame in the front of the car. It was crazy loud.

my friend has a train horn on his truck and he runs it with 150 psi from an air tank he has behind the seat…that fucker screams!

where did u get it from

lol what the fuck

it’s going to sound like shit … kind of like a dying whale … that small air compressor barley puts out enough sound … it won’t be loud at all and it won’t come on fast liek your stock horn … there’s like a second delay.

i tried it before when i was like 18 and dumb and it wasn’t that great at all. to make ti work right you need an air tank with some serious psi in it

depending on what it is playing it should sound ok, i used that kit on a coworkers truck back in the day. He wanted lacoucaracha…he was mid 40s early 50s puerto rican and had a chain steering wheel. It was awesome. Worked fairly decent

i didn’t think this style played songs? i know what style your talking about and it is way better than this … but this one is just on/off air to all 3 horns.

oh and when that tube get’s hot it collapses at any bend usually… those don’t look to bad though

thats not true at all, I have had 2 sets of the Hella tripples and they are fine, minor delay if any and they are fairly loud, the sound they put out is euro/ferrari type sound, the best I can describe it. They dont seem to do well in the cold weather and salt is the problem. Put them somewhere dry if you want them to last.

jeller

Well the last one I had sounded good I thought, and there are a couple people on here that can vouch for it. It is just a standard, Ferrari sytle loud ass horn. Nothing ghey like Lacucaracha.

Sorry for the slow response. They should be pretty well protected with the bracket. Thanks for the back up though.

I just love the weight reduction and additional horsepower of this thing.

 to you then if you know what your getting into and like it. wasn’t my style but if it’s what you want liek i said  looks like your doing a good job installing it.

… Lacucaracha is effing sweet

This thread is useless without an audio clip.

That truck didn’t happen to be green would it??? If so, I know who you’re talking about. And his car smelled like piss on the inside (used to clean it at delta)

Galvanized and zip screws, I love it!! When you get it all said and done you need to pull along side of someone and ask them if they want to race. . . Then tell them to go on the third peep / song

beepbeepHOOOOOOONNNNNNNNKKKK
Stun them, and then beat them.
