Funny story about horns like these… I have a set of the doubles on my Nissan, and was making a left turn in a four-lane intersection. Now, you know that many people have no idea how to stay in their own lane even going in a straight line, let alone going around a corner. So of course the idiot next to me (he is to my right) does the usual “cut the corner”, but I was expecting it, and laid on the horn. Keep in mind that at this time, the front corner of my car is right at his driver side door, so he got a hell of a blast from the air horns. He jerked the car over so hard I thought he was going to hit the right-hand curb. I took a look over at the driver at the next light and he looked like he had shell shock… :lol:
there is no noticeable delay in these at all. i had the exact same set before and i use to love scaring the shit out of people that cut me off or what not. it is well worth the extra 1/2 pound of weight that you add
i hooked a set like that up to the fog lights on my Talon, and it was nice cause I could lock it on, and then gesture with both hands. I ended up just running one horn for the loudness.
