Last night the inner fender thing that makes up my front driver’s side wheel well fell out. I’m trying to look it up in my factory service manual… what is that piece called? Inner Fender?

You don’t need that…it’s just extra weight :tounge: I ripped mine off because they just flapped around after i broke the bolts and plastic clips from taking them off so much.

as i’m a fan of just ripping shit off that doesn’t need to be there, i would assume you to want your ‘wheelhousing’ to keep road debris from hurling in to teh engine bay… but that’s just me.

invest in a set–works alot better on those little plastic clips-then a big ass flat screw driver

I take all that worthless shit off. I cut out the floorboards in my trunk and just tacked the carpet up real good to save weight. If you want to be truely hardcore, you must goto extremes. The thing to do now is to aim the air intake right over the tire so it gets as much air as possible. That’s the pimp way to do a CAI.
Well I didn’t choose to rip them off just for fun, i just couldn’t put them back on because the bolts and plastic screws broke and stuff. So they flapped around and rubbed on my tires. I was planning on getting some screen or something to put on there to keep most of the crap from flying up in there.
i think i have some platic clips still lft over-there better then tthe two pieces factorys ones you can have the rest-you can get them at any local hardwear store and they work real good
just put the factory covers back in they work the best and thats what there made for
Well the one cover was torn up from my tire rubbing on it, so i just threw it away. The other one i’ll have to look for i’m not sure if i kept it or not :doh:
